Been out of the country off and on last few years trying to do my part keeping USA a free country and the Dog has been sleeping.05 Bulldog V&H BR 2in2,cut heads,Super G,610 cam,Bandit clutch,S&S rocker box swap making 111hp.Before I left was looking into either changing the front pulley out for a larger one or the same on the primary to effectively lower the drive ratio,did anybody ever come up with a swap out?Anybody hands down have the best performance pipes 2in2out?Played with all variations of baffles to none with the V&H with no positive gains as well as everyone has them.Heard MM make more power but bad about breaking brackets?Any proven HP air intake yet?Looking to be in the 125hp+ range?Looking at the Dyna ignition with single dual fire coil setup?Both side covers are cracked,does this seem to be a common occurence?If so any sources for replacement?They passed a wonderful new tag law in FL recently,just found out the hard way at Daytona BW $1000 fine for vertical tag so I am looking into doing a larger rear fender with frenched tag,any sources?Saw some on Ebay that supposedly had a BD part # on them?Sorry for the long post just trying make up for lost time.Also if anybody has an 05 Bulldog if they could remove the seat and take a pic of the batt/elec. area,need to know type of bolt that holds down front of batt. box?Please reply to webbtogo@aol.com Thanx

as far as one of the items goes, the side covers were a large enough problem for the factory to issue a service bulletin. they have replaced the cracked ones with new ones in the past and have devised a new mounting system in which they use rubber grommets and pins instead of bolts. check with your local dealer on the service bulletin. they will have to send off the old side covers to match the paint and it would be a better thing to wait till the off season to have it done because it could take a while to get them back.
