04 Service Manual

OK, so when I got my bike I also bought a cd on ebay that had an electronic version of the service manual on it. I looked high and low through the thing and cant find anything that goes into detail about the lights on the EHC. (My dang bike wont turn over and I am not sure if its the EHC or the starter hence I am looking for what all the pretty lights mean before shelling out the bucks to have it towed to a dealer). Does anyone know if this is supposed to be in the manual or not???

04 ch0pper service manual, circuit#1 btarter/compression releases circuit#2ignition(module and coil) curcuit#3left front turn signal. curcuit#4right turn signal. curcuit#5 left rear turn signal. curcuit #6 right rear turn signal. curcuit &hi beam. curcuit#8 lo beam curcuit #9 horn. not sure this is what your looking for?

It should be in there. The hard copy has it in a couple of places. Assman's Layout is correct. What lights do you have on the EHC before and after hitting the run switch?

Do you still have the old EHC or the new Mod one?

I pretty sure the 04 have the new ones because they use the new hand and feet controls. 03 was the last year of the HD stuff.

Big Dog sent me a new one they redesisned for my 04 chopper and works like a champ no complains

MIne is just 1 row of small led's on it....with some blinking and some not when I have the ignition turned on. I see one on the far right that lights up when I hit the stop and run button but I also have one that sometimes goes from red to orange. I had assumed these were like trouble lights, that one blinking and one not would be a way for them to tell if there were electrical issues on the bike....maybe not.

I also have the problem that the headlight doesnt come on and neither does the speedo....crazy that all this happens immediately after I get a new battery....
