04 Ridgeback Whisker Bar Installation???

Hello, all!

I've searched high and low, but to no avail. I'm looking for an up close picture of a passenger peg whisker bar installed on an 04 Ridgeback. I have the kit and am looking at two different sets of bolts. 2 vertically installed and 2 horizontally. Do I just need to buy longer bolts for the horizontally shot (fore and aft) bolts? What do I now do with the two that are installed vertically? (they would be in the way if I install this thing like I think it goes)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are two bolts that shoot down into frame cross member that the whisker bar sits on top of. Sorry, I don't have a pic right now, but basically if you left them in the whisker bar mounting flange wouldn't sit far enough down to install the bolts that run fore and aft. If you remove them then the flange can sit down on the frame cross member and the mounting holes line up. These two "vertically shot" Bolts don't seem to be doing anything, but I wonder why they're there... Some other accessory perhaps? I haven't ever seen anything else mounted there. There doesn't appear to have been anything ever installed there previously on my bike either. They don't have a nut, just a washer. The holes are threaded and offset to the left.

Finally got a pic posted.... I'm referring to the two vertical ones. Thanks, everyone!

Oh, and yes. I know it's dirty... Working on that, too!

The bolts are mounted horizontally. The should have a lock nut on the back end. I think the vertical holes are there for a different mount.

Thanks, fellas! I picked up a couple of thin GM interior plugs to go in the holes. Should keep the bar from chewing up the paint on the frame and keep the holes from rusting. I thought it pretty clever.... :D
