04 Ridgeback Starter Issue

I puy my charged battery in after winter storage and tried to start the bike. All I get is a clicking noise from the solenoid as I hold the start button down. I tried tapping on it with a rubber mallet in case it was seized from the winter in the garage, but had no luck. Any suggestions on further testing and if I have to replace it, who has a good recommendation?

Ya need more juice, sounds like the battery isn't up to the task. I know you charged it, but how old is it and maybe ya wanna have it load tested.

it's a 3 year old Braille. You may be right. I'll have to get it tested. Thanks for your input.

Disconnect the battery, and take the plate off the back side of the solenoid, and clean the contacts.
