Here's my take on the situation...

You joined a few weeks ago, never bothered to introduce yourself to us, and then in your first post you want something from us.

THEN, in your second post you want something else... for FREE!

Are you really surprised at the response you've received so far?

Why not start over by introducing yourself here...

Introductions - BIG DOG Motorcycle Forums

...and then maybe even participate a little in the forum? We're really not that bad and there's a shit load more to gained from this site than a couple of struts and a service manual!!! :2thumbs:

Should you choose to go this route I can't guarantee it'll get you a free manual or that someone will have a set of struts for you but I can guarantee it'll be worth your time becoming part of one of the best and informative forums on the Internet! :D

Welcome to the Big Dog Biker Forum!

THe 04 service manual is fairly worthless in my opinion. THe newer ones are much more thorough. I wouldn't waste my money on it again. Get the HD manual instead. That is a much easier one to find for download as well.

Honestly, yes some of the BDM manuals leave some to desire, however, there is info in there that you just can't go without!

Well I take that back... you can, cause you can just be a dull pencil to the rest of us and ask us 200 questions that would be answered in the service manual.

So would the newer service manual apply to the 04 and how much newer so i dont buy the wrong one. I seen some post on here that had some good pics that look like they came out of some type of service manual.

Too many differences in motor, transmission, ignition, drive system and other things. Contact Nelson and buy your proper manual.

03 lots of hd components
04 start of bdm stuff first edition of EHC, still LSD and some hd parts
05 RSD, super E, restrictor plates, and more like the newer bikes with bdm parts
06+ back to super G and no plates, and just like the newer ones.

SO yes there are many differences.
