Well, it's better than not giving it a shot. I think it's a huge waste of time and money taking our bikes to a "mechanic" ... My thought, if you own a BD, learn to wrench on it.

I was actually cleaning the bike yesterday and thought I may just try and cut the pipes flush and they will be like mini shotgun pipes.Well, it's better than not giving it a shot. Any HD softail pipes will work. you just have to make a custom rear mount.... Big Dogs aren't any different in that area...

Great Adice! I needed to read rule #2 about 10 days ago. I got LA Chopper 187's. I LOVE the obnoxious loud roar but now on burn #3 in 10 days. Gonna have to buy that clevis kit to move my pegs out a bit. Get my ankle away from pipe. I have to be dressed just right (heavy jeans and the right boots) otherwise as soon as I turn my foot in to hit rear brake...OUCH!! In spite of all that I really like the pipes...they sound like the 7 angels of the apocalypse coming down to earth to wreck the place

The X pipe is awesome for me i want the Chrome without The baffles. You must state weather you want them or not they are custom built for you when ordered. Awesome people to talk to

Those there state they are only for twin cam engines...so that's a no go unless they will make it for ya but surprised it's not an option on their site.
