04 Mastiff with S&S clutch

Anybody have an S&S clutch on their bike. Issues with mine. Shavings from somewhere Was whining on decel and started making more noise. Clutch seemed loose on transmission shaft. And bearing connecting hub to basket was not solid. Having new bearing put in. Once cleaned. Do the spline in the hub seem worn

Back in the day, IIRC, those clutches had to be located/positioned on the trans. main shaft with shims. You can call S&S, and possibly get the information you need. I remember doing 1 of those on a 1990 FXR, I installed a 427" Ultima engine in. I'll look through some of my paperwork from S&S, to see if I still have the assembly directions.

I have the assembly directions. Trying to get an answer from S&S about the bearing and pressure plate springs. Appears the hub backed up on the bearing somehow. Not sure if I should rebuild or go with a bandit. And only finding 05 and up bandit clutches for Big Dog
