04 Mastiff Oil Filter

I want to change the oil filter on my 04 Mastiff-looking to find a part # so i can cross it or get recommendations on one to use? Also-when i tried to spin it off or use a filter wrench, it didn't seem to want to budge? Any ideas? Thanks.

Oil Filters

If all else fails stick a screw driver through it and twist off CCW. A little messy but it works.

Strap wrench almost works every time but if not do what Curtis said. When you install the new filter screw it on until you feel the gasket contact and go 1/2 turn more.

Hit up Maddog and get a reuseable filter from K&P. Love mine.

Thanks for the info. I didn't give the strap wrench my all yet- i wasn't really sure if it was a chrome filter housing or a 1 piece chrome filter.
