ok 04 Dog owners... Who has changed from the thunderheart to something better and what did you change to.
Talked to thunderheart and they have none for our 04s. I might send mine in to test or anyone have a good way to test it? I have replaced the cam sensor in the past and not sure if that is the problem again but getting no spark. I turn the key on and the thunder heart lights up but while cranking the engine I get no light out of the thunder heart. I have to troubleshoot but I have 2 more days of work before I can get back in my garage to throw wrenches.

Thanks

Note for Thunder Heart owners... If the bike turns over but you are not getting the light flashing on your Thunder Heart its the Cam Sensor. Talked with Larry at Thunder Heart

R2 my Cam Sensor (HD Part again) Dog came to life and the world is right again.

Went for a ride let the dog warm up and hammered it and she took off like a new Pup.
That way yesterday at 60 Degrees in South Dakota...

Now there is a six foot drift of snow in my front yard and its still comming down.

Wow I love South Dakota Weather

Im sure you know but just remember our 04's have dual fire coils so if you move to a single fire ignition you will need to replace the coils as well :2thumbs:

Yes the one I am referring to comes as a kit, Retailing for $400...comes with internal single fire ignition, single fire coils and plug wires. Have used their setup on many bikes and it works very well and is very reliable.
