04 DT EHC to wireplus

I have a 04 chopper dt and im changing over my ehc to a wireplus kit my question is I believe I have a upgrade adapter board on my ehc mod and that board has I think 5 wires or so one for my starter ground and one to the breaker terminal should I just remove this board and continue to follow the instructions for the wire plus kit or does that change some things around were it alters the instructions

also my ehc board is not black its gold and has 18 lights?? but it is the 04 dt? I think it was upgraded to the smart ehc board and if that's correct does change the kits instructions?
