04 chopper ehc problems

I have two 04 Big Dogs. One has a Rolling Thunder frame, the other is a Daytec frame. Both have ehc problems. I purchased the Wire Plus Retro kit for both bikes and have installed one in the rolling thunder. After installing this kit step by step I have no power to anything. Can anyone help me out?
It must be some thing simple that I am over looking. I have been through the installation instructions more than I can count and found nothing wrong. I need to get one running before doing anything with the other bike.

Tried everything and still have the same issue. I have the new switch that came with the retro kit. Did a wire by wire check on all connections and can't find anything wrong. The headlight is dim, the neutral light is on and the oil pressure light is on but nothing else is working. The module has the ignition, accessory and lights leds on but cannot get the compression release, start input and start output do not light. Looks like its time for a big bill at the bike shop.

I had a similar issue after installing my WP. Go over EACH and EVERY connection and make sure they are tight. I was POSITIVE I had mine right and tight.....I think I found 5 loose ones. Also check your ground connections. With so many its easy to miss one or two. Keep us posted and ya better get to the Intro section before the cops show up!!

X2....For sure.......I JUST fixed my friends bike.....and guess what...he had a shitty ground AND a bad connection.....what i mean by bad connection is..The wire LOOKED good and tight, like it was crimped good, but when I touched it with my DVOM,the wire pushed out of the terminal,it was split out on the back side:(....GO OVER all that stuff again, always start with the basic's and work your way forwards to the more harder stuff........Good luck man!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tend to agree. There are alot of wires that get cut. When I did mine some of the wires going into the EHC would cross over one another. If your not careful and look twice you could end up with the wrong wire in the wrong place.

The best advice I can provide is to slowly do each wire one at a time and check it before going to the next. It sucks but I would go back to the beginning and check each connection step by step. It could easily be a missed ground wire if you want to eliminate a bunch of wires all at once. When frustrated, walk away and come back with a fresh mind. Drinking, wiring, and old age is probably not going to work for most either..
