04 big dog quits

Have 04 big dog chopper that quits, lights out, speedo out, after on the road for 10 miles. The key seems to be dead however, the relay by the battery clicks like it should, however no lights on EHC. Let it sit a few minutes, turn key back on and everything fires up, go another 2 miles and lights out again. Replaced relay, bike started up long enough to load in trailer, unloaded bike and it won't power up at all. Is this ultimately a faulty EHC that I have been reading about, and can you get new one from Big Dog.

good luck big dog don't have any and i know because i tried to get one from two dealers no luck 2004 is a one year only ehc . wire plus went into my 04 chopper hope this helps

i got a whole bunch of help from BDMRIDGEBACK contact him when you give up on big dog

Sure appreciate the help, found out EHC from Big Dog 17 weeks on back order, looking into WP or something more radical, just wonder about automatic compression release circuit without EHC
