03 Pit Front Turn Signals

I noticed on the group ride in Daytona that on my 03 pit my front turn signals are not lit while running, while most of the newer bikes had them lit. What year did this change or are my signals screwed up? Is it possible to convert them if it is proper? I would like them lit for the added safety as well it looks alot better. Appreciate the input. :2thumbs:

dont know about the 03 but my 04 does light up.look at your bulds and see if they are double element.i think the 03 has regular bulbs not leds.but again im not sure

My wife has an '03 Mastiff and they do not light up while running. Strictly turn signal indicators. Hers are LED lights and I'm pretty sure they are original. As for having them light up while running, can't help you there, but that's not how they were designed to run.

03s are just blinkers up front. You can convert to run/turn but you will need to get front LED boards off an 04+ and run your (3rd) wire from the LED board to an always on like the light on your speedo or tach.

I did it and it is super easy to get done. Gas sent me the LED boards off his 05 and it works perfectly. I did a thread on it somewhere. Do an advanced search with my user name and LEDs as keyword, should come up (pictures and all).

I thought perhaps my stock LED boards would work as runs and turns but, not so much.:bang:
