03 chopper starter

Man its been awhile since I`ve been on here..I should go back to introductions LOL!

What Iam looking for is a rebuild kit for a 03 chopper starter..mainly the contacts and plunger (there ate up) took the rest of the starter apart and the motor was all good..contacts got fried when battery wasnt working correctly(LOW).. anyway is the a place were I can get them..I looked at wildsteel and didnt see any (that was the first place I checked to ...

Try wild steed works. Curtis is a vendor on this sight! A lot of times he doesn't have the parts on his sight. But if you e-mail him he will tell you if they are available or if he has them in stock.

They don't look that bad...sand them a bit and presto*

Eric is right, they don't look that bad.
Stick your finger in the plunge hole, and see if it moves. If it is tight, sand down the contacts and run it. If it is loose, your fixing to have problems, and need to replace the solenoid.

I found a kit by All Balls...21.00 new contacts and plunger...Sanding it down was next.
