Anyone have wiring diagram of testing for no turn or brake lights for 03 chopper. Should also say I have the wire plus system.

Mike will be right with you. Year? Apply? There is a recent thread with all LED's on. Mike showed that box with all leads out showing the winker sides, lights, etc. If they use the same black box with next year, etc., you can keep it connected, find the pin, then back-probe it with a sewing needle, meter probe(+) on sewing needle, other probe to ground, hit the brake and did the meter show 12v at the sewing needle?

Now with the disconnect at the black box, find pin at the black box, count over so many female blocks in the connector end, take the sewing needle to the stop light female pin connector, remove taillight bulb, find brake button in the bulb housing, step on brake to make connection. Get it?
1. Female pin shows it's still on the wire at the connector.
2. Wire up to the brake junction shows not broken at the junction.
3. For argument sake, front and rear meet at this junction? So that says both show no break at the hand jobber, or the foot jobber.
4. Say [fas], foot works, hand does not. See it narrow down to whom?
5. So wire and jobber side are all connected, all show on/off at jobbers. Nothing out the black box. But you knew that at the connection.

That's how I'd walk up to the bike. I know that junction is in question, but this is more your basic look see using a meter.

Start simple!!
Check for damaged wires first (as Mr. Wright says above) it is a pretty common problem. Then trace back to central wiring - towards battery box and where it passes under rear tin (may be a disconnected connection too depending on how wired).
If it is all turns (fronts and rear) and brake then it it could be in the main wiring / wires plus module or connection to it.

What is being misread here is I more speak in the generic approach, not bike specific and its known quirks. The old hook his fish and toss it out approach is not me, thank you.

So as stated, don't listen to me as one of your buddies wants your help with his bike and it's not a BD, then first thing you do is say here, hold my beer and then proceed to bend over to look under his fender.

Fwiw, same one let out all the magic smoke on my 04 Pit. We were in Jay Okla I think? I replaced mine with an Electronix box from WSW. My wires plus lasted about 9 yrs. The new box....wow. Rock Solid. You have to replace the backbone harness too as the WP hacked up your OG harness. Its kinda pricy but like the man said...."cool aint cheap".
