I have a brake light issue with my 2003 BD Chopper as well. Any info or help will be appreciated.

On the 03-04' s the wires run on the inside of the fender. More than likely the tire has rubbed the wires where it goes through the fender to the light. Repair the wires and coat them good with silicone. Use a stick to hold them up against the sides while it dries.

Thanks for the help. I ordered a pair of led boards for the tail lights from Big Dog thinking one had gone bad. When I installed the new one in the inop light I get a steady brake light. I'm no expert but a constant brake light on one side and a normal functioning light on the other tells me the problem is a bit deeper. Any ideas?

Look under the fender, where the wires go through to the light. If the tire has rubbed the wires, they may be shorting together.
