I am in need of the software for my Dog so I can pull a couple degrees of timing out.
I'd also like to drop the rev limiter down.
I have BDS software but its for newer bikes with the newer module.

Any help would greatly appreciated

Thanks
Ron

Thanks anyway.

There has to be somebody who has access to the software.

I would buy, beg , borrow, or steal the correct software.

Did that, Brook said they didn't do the Big Dog software.

She said it would be something like EA 5000? version.

Will keep poking at the dealers as much as I can.

If your Ignition Module is locked from factory you are out of luck.... I upgraded my factory module to the ASM5012 and all good now.

NO haven't tried them. I'll give him a call maybe Monday.
I really hate to do any type of "upgrade" since I only have 6000 miles on a 03

Thanks

Looks like a dead end. More than ten years ago I Began searching for S/W to interface with my 03 Chopper. At first, I felt confident about finding more information.

My brother has a degree in electrical engineering from the university in Wichita, KS. He actually looked up one of the designers who first worked on the computer design for Big Dog. Turned out to be an academic who got the attention of Big Dog because of his work on projects for the local small aircraft manufacturers around Wichita. By the way, this explains the lack of durability and issues with moisture. Computer wiring inside a 4-seater Cessna is not exposed to water and other external hazards.

Long story short: I believe the earlier computer designs done for Big Dog had design problems that were addressed as their ugly heads appeared, but still haunt us today.

This website - Big Dog Biker - has been, and remains, the only place to find historic information for our scoots.
