02 Pitbull in TN

The bike runs, the carb has been rebuilt, but it is too finnicky for my tastes. The carb has the jet kit from S&S, it just needs jetted/tuned/tweaked to your tastes. I bought the bike to learn on and enjoy but it is always needing something and I'm just tired of messing with it. It comes with the fork rebuild kit (and slide hammer like tool), and the fluid to rebuild the forks as they did have a little bit of film on the forks when I went to buy it. The tank could probably use cleaned out as it is what jammed the intermediate jet on the carb and why I rebuilt it, but there is some crud building up on the screen in the inline filter.

You're welcome to ask any questions you want, come check it out and buy it or trade it. I'd be interested in a bike I can actually just get on and ride without having to constantly be turning wrenches on it, or perhaps another 4 wheel toy.

The oil has been changed, the primary fluid has been changed, the spark plugs have been changed, and I have the transmission fluid, I just haven't drained/filled it. She has a smidgen over 5300 miles and the title is clean and clear. I'm in Chattanooga, TN.

Sorry to hear the news. I am sure you will find a taker. Sweet looking ride & sounded like you were going to take the good with the bad. Good job on the work you accomplished. BigDog Motorcycles are a unique motorcycle. Be safe out there!!
Oh yeah. How much?

Necro bump lol im moving to Maine and may not easily be able to transport or store it. Does anyone want to come get it in chattanooga tn?

I took the pipes off to replace the exhaust gaskets, still have the gaskets to install then the pipes need to be put back on. I replaced the intake manifold gaskets. I also removed the petcock to clean it.

All you need to do is put the exhaust gaskets in and pipes on, put the air filter back on, and double check the petcock to make sure I sealed it and tightened it enough and then run a fuel line from the tank to the carb, and charge it, then tune the carb and clutch to your liking (i have the jet kit). It comes with a motorcycle lift, fluids to do the trans, battery tender, and some other stuff. I probably have about 7k in the bike but if someone wants to spend a few hours on it over the weekend, you can come get it for $5800.
