02 Mastiff tire fitment

I have searched at length and not much to find so wanted to post the question. Any suggested fitments for 02 Mastiff vs. OEM. The OEM size is 230/60X15 rear and 80/90X21 front. These sizes come is very limited choices that I can find (only 1 Avon tire for rear size). So my question is are there other sizes that will fit?

No. Unless you want to go a lot smaller which would look real goofy.

I think you are stuck with a 230 on the rear due to rim diameter..fronts stay in a pretty tight range with 21" rims

I have an '02 Mastiff also. Just hope Avon doesn't stop making the 230/60X15. If they do, we're SOL! No other mfgr. that I've found makes that size.

One thing for sure. Every Exile Cycle is running a 230 (some on the front too!) So there will always be a lot of folks who spent a whole lot of money on their bikes looking for 230's. Also, it is a popular size tire in England as they run the same size tire on a bunch of small sports cars (Triumph, MG). That's where you have to get innertubes if you ever need them.

Getting the Avon roadrunner for rear (obviously only choice)...so what about front? OEM is 80/90x21...shop suggested a 90/90...any problems or reason to deviate from OEM? Thanks in advance and can't wait for that bitch Mother Nature to finally arrive with Spring here in Chicago!!

Mine had 90/90 and replaced with the same, no problems so far. Rear I plan to change to 18x8.5 240mm.

Thanks Gunnar! When I realized the limitations on that 15" rear wheel I thought of doing similar to a larger diameter. The 02 Pitbull has a 250/40x18 on it and looks great...would love that look on mine. However not ready to invest in new wheels. Will stick with stock for now.
