02 Husky problem

Ive got a n 02 husky, bought it last year. I (being a dumbass) didnt do much of anything before the winter and the bike sat in the garage all winter, it wasnt too terribly cold. I got it out, started it up (with the help of jumpers) a few weeks ago and it seemed fine. I got it out again yesterday and it wouldnt stay running, keeps acting like its flooding itself. So i got a new battery and trickle charger which ive been meaning to do for a while, pulled the plugs which were full of carbon and replaced them, and cleaned the air filter. There seems to be a lot of gas coming out, like it just floods every time i try and start it. It cranks fine, and itll fire but seems to jus choke out. Ive tried choke up down, off about everything. Other than what ive already said I dnt know where to start. Could it be a fuel prob, carb prob, do i need to adjust the carb or the thumb screw in there? Im not a gear head so any help would be great!

Ok Brian, first off your bike does not have a choke. The carb has an "enrichener" that dumps raw fuel down the throat.
You have done the right things so far in that you got a new battery and a tender.
Now put new plugs in it again. Ensure your enrichener (choke as you call it) is fully lowered then twist the throttle two full turns and start it without opening the throttle. If it starts then try to keep it from dying by giving it some throttle till she warms up.
If it doesn't start then give it another twist of the throttle and try again. If you need to use the enrichener USE IT ONLY TO START IT THEN SHUT IT OFF. It floods out the bike very quickly.

After that you can adjust the carb as needed. There are plenty of threads on here about adjusting a carb.
