On my 2007 mastiff, how do I know if the electronic compression releases are working, can I put my finger on one while I hit the button and I should feel something move?

Also, if they are not working can I just push both of them down manually before starting each time?

Thanks

Yes you will feel them move when hitting the atart button if they are working correctly.

You would have to have 3 arms to do that or hit the start button with your nose lol... but on a serious note you bike will start with them not working its just harder on the starter...i would replace them if they are both not working correctly

Just because your CR feels or sounds as if it working it's not always functioning correctly. When I replaced mine everything seemed to be working correctly however once I got the CR's removed one was broken inside the CR which did not allow it to open. They are cheap enough, I would just replace with new ones and save yourself the headache. :2cents:

When I got the bike I was told it had the dead one customs upgrades including the ehc I believe, but not sure where it would be located on this mastiff.
