I am thrilled to have the ole scooter in the best shape it has ever been in now I am "Retired" and have time to ride. Last many years all we had time to do is work. I knew the wire plus was crap and If I had had the chance to ride more than 2 ~ 3 times a year it would have failed long ago. I can get on it now and take off anywhere I want too any time I want too. I recently, last December had a plate removed from my head where a horse kicked me in 1968. It is about the size of the palm of your hand. I have a scar on my right leg the size of a pound of hamberger meat, where they put that on my head where the plate was, and is no more. 4 months on disability , healed up as good as it will ever be, no plate now. I retired the day the Dr released me March 6th. And I can not tell you how thrilled I am to be able to even ride at all, after a 7 1/2 hour surgery, 3 teams of surgeons at Vanderbilt. 7 days in sugical ICU. I have a 3 1/2 plate in my neck too, bones replaced, thar reminds me daily it is there.

I am healthy enough, blessed way more than I imagine. Like , wow, I have a Big Dog Ridgeback barely over 19,000 miles on it covered up in the garage ready to go , in great shape thanks to someone I was told was one the best people I would ever meet by someone that held him when he was baby! My uncle was correct! Actually both of them.

If I was working still I would have just got in the bed to get up at 11:30 before midnight! Instead of in the Lazyboy. Ya'll have a great rest of the week.
