I have a 2006 K9 and want o change out the intake to the Spike Air Intake, I have the parts ( I Think ) that came with the K9 when i bought it, Does anyone have the installation instructions for this? Any help will be much appreciated.

Welcome from Kansas. What do you need assistance with? Which A/C do you have now and what A/C are you adding? There are several "spike" A/C's. Most are straight forward installs.

I have the OEM air cleaner that would have came on the K9 in 06, The previous owner bought the spike ( I assume from Big Dog) as i received it in one of the boxes of parts i got with the motorcycle when i bought it a couple weeks ago.

Exactly, I have the dog eared piece behind the intake elbow that goes on the carb, So i assume i simply install that piece with gaskets on both sides and then bolt the intake to it? There was another piece in the box sort of like a spacer but i believe that came from something else and did not belong.
Yup. Install is fairly simple. You may be able to find gaskets or you may have to cut some to fit?

Good Morning, Well i installed the starter and it appeared that everything was fine but as it turns out i now have another issue. The bike will start intermittently. Which i believe is now the ignition module it is sending the signal to the ignition coil hit and miss, Has anyone ever dealt with this?

Yep. It happens when they get hot & old. What ignition module do you have on your awesome BigDog?

Just throwing this out there for ya, ya may have a tuning issue with the spike. Keep the stock cause you may wanna put it back on. Ask me how I know.

HMAN, If the new IM does not fix this issue that may be where i go next, I see i can buy the two harness's that go from the IM to the Ignition Coil from Wild Steed Worx in California, And since after i install the new IM, I will have changed the IM, Ignition Coil, Battery, Starter, Crank Position Sensor and New plug wires i am starting to run out of things to change, But the motorcycle runs fantastic the few test rides i have been on since i bought it a few weeks ago. But with that said, She will live again because i will not give up until i push the start but and she jumps to life EVERY TIME, Thanks for the info.
