04 Chopper.; I think. I just traded into a 2004 Big Dog Chopper.

I'm told that it a DK frame. I know nothing at this point. It is making a chirping sound getting on the throttle and letting off. That is how I found this site. Hopefully, what I have read will solve this. I love the bike. It is gorgeous. Happy 4th.

The chirping you are hearing is the belt drive...may have little oil on it...take little soap and water with a ole tooth brush an clean it

I don't think it is belt related. I tightened the front 2 motor mounts (with a 3/8 rachet) and the alan bolts from the heads to the top frame. It still chirps (like steel to steel, like a creaky bed frame) when pressure is applied from downshifting. Just one chirp each time. Not continuous.
