Can anyone post a picture of how the taillight assembly and front/rear turn signals looked from the factory on a 2001 Bulldog? I believe someone has frankensteined the lights on the bike I just bought as a project.

This photo from bigdog.net does not have a great view of the tail light but it is definitely the same assembly as mine on my 2000 Vintage Classic.
That's what I figured it was supposed to look like. MIne has the tail light and license plate assembly but someone removed the bullet style turn signals and put some kind of plate over the license holder with little amber lights in it - it doesn't even fit right - looks like shit.

The tail lights are pretty common side mount style intended 5o mount on the fender struts with center wiring raceway through the bolt. You should be able to find those. If the original billet plate mount is whole it should be an easy reassembly.

I mean the billet plate itself is bigger than OEM by the amount added on either side to house the blinkers. Looks aftermarket to me. Actually my taillight is aftermarket also as I had to replace mine after a catastrophic electrical meltdown of my whole electrical system. That taillight is a shallow integral LED that mounts just like the original.

The fender & rear light on mine 2000 Vintage Sport is different than any I have seen yet. No signals on the bike so can’t help you there. But I believe they mount to the struts.IMG_1269.jpeg
