Newer style hand controls with switches and wiring

I was thinkin about putting the newer style hand controls on my 03 pitbull. How involved is this?? I know my bars are 1" compared to the newer ones(1 3\16). Would it be easier to buy bigger bars?? Will the newer switches plug into my 03?? Just seeing if anyone has done this or has info on doing it. Thanks......

No offense but are you crazy? The options for you are endless so why would you want to put on some temperamental big dog switches. The new style switches need an 04 or newer style EHC to control them, so the answer to your question is really no they won't directly plug in. But if you really want some newer style switches and a new EHC then stick around because I think in the next couple months you'll be seeing quite a few listed for sale.

with 03's we have a TON of options...anything that fits an HD. In the next few weeks I plan on changing my bars, controls and head light. Give the Dog a newer look!

I'd recommend Titties and beer 3 times a day until such time as such silly ideas are purged from his head!:D

Too many great set ups out there to want to run the late model stuff on an 03 model bike!:2thumbs: :2thumbs: :2thumbs:
