Thread sealer ?

I got the 05 Chopper torn apart and starting to reassemble. Picked up new oil lines from Curtis and want to reseal all my oil line fittings. The ones going into the oil tank and oil pump.

The question is what are you guys using to seal pipe threads ? Looks like the factory used some kind of dope. I have been building hot rods for 40 years and have yet to find a great dope or past for this. I have tried many, all seam to leak. To this point Teflon tape has worked the best for me.

What are your thoughts ? 4FF54885-D48D-44E0-BCFD-42E2988662E5.jpeg

If there's no oil to mess with it and get it gummed up I use the Permatex 59214 High Temperature Thread Sealant.

Clean the parts good before application It's a liquid a little goes a long way, and need to let it cure for about 24 hours before you add oil or fire the bike but it makes a good seal & won't leak. Works better than tape, I only use the teflon tape if I'm in a pinch.
