Looking for front TP rocker box cover

I know it is probably a long shot but I am looking for A front TP rock box cover. Mine was damaged by the previous owner when he took a die grinder to it to get out a Broken bolt. 2005 Big Dog 117.

Thanks

I'm assuming your chrome is pealing? Two things you can do. Have it rechromed, or peal the rest of the chrome off and polish it. There is a thread on it somewhere. I'll look for it.
My chrome isn't perfect but the reason I am looking for a front cover is it is damaged. Apparently the previous owner stripped one of the mounting bolts and used a die grinder to get it out. The recessed area for the mounting screw all ate up and deformed and the screw won't seal. He also put deep grooves in the top where he skipped across the top with the grinder.

I will eventually have them rechromed if I can find a top or get another set and have them rechromed.

Hello LoDog, I got them done at SpaceCoast Plating Services in Melbourne Florida. I do believe they were fairly reasonable. I had other stuff being done at the same time so I don’t recall exactly what they charged for the rocker covers themselves. But mine were so messed up the cost wasn’t even a issue. I will see if I can find the invoice when I get home from work today. Hope this helps.

Thanks! That helps a lot. I also need to get my grips done because I cannot seem to find replacements for them and they are BDM grips. I will contact Melbourne and see what they can do for me.

Hmm. I am sure Eric at HDM would know most likely. Below are the hand controls on my 2004 Ridgeback ( which are similar I believe) & on my 2000 Vintage Sport. I am pretty sure that you can find a suitable replacement. Check out bigdogpartskingpin.com for sure.F7E4B63D-6D01-4C98-BE19-B68601B89C55.jpeg46924673-4713-4246-B2CC-6FE1F823D5E0.jpeg
