My daughter is adopting a second child. The new one is due the end of Sept. so one of needs to be around to watch the 2 year old while they go to pick up the new one. We suspect the new one will arrive a bit early. Susan volunteered to stay behind. She earned the T-shirt and a lot more.

Forecast is looking fantastic. Roadie (Eric) is planning to meet us in Texarkana, and MickeyTwo's group might ride with us too.
Finally, after 3 years, we might finally get the Ozark ride we've been waiting for.
Bubba's Saturday ride last year was amazing. I can hardly wait to hit the road a week from Wednesday !!

Got the silver bike fixed yesterday evening for Daves....rode it 94 miles so all good....the other deal is the switching module, which i have more of those but not messing with it....going to put a axels kit on it in a few weeks.....ole blue, well thats another story....its going slower than i wanted, but it is what it is...if i get the time it will be ready for a shake down ride at the end of this week...lol feel like im back drag racing again with a 55 minute turn around to get to the staging lanes...
Super excited about seeing all of you guys....9 days away for us and we will be there....well 10 i should say....we will roll in around 1 30 Thursday morning

hey Chong and Jersey Big Mike........don't have to worry anymore about distance records.
Just got news that my wife has to go on a business trip and as we have her 99 year old father at our home I will look after him during her absence........so unfortunately right over the time where the gathering is happening.
BTW, I planned 5 days each way.....average between 320 and 350 miles a day.....easy. Just attached as well the windshield to get an easier ride.
I hope I can make it to another BD gathering the next time.

Sorry to hear you cant make it....but i totally understand....99 years old, that is awesome....gosh at the stuff he has saw in his life....
Hopefully you can make it to Tennessee toward the end of May next year.... i know that a long way for you tho...we havent decided on the dates yet...i will start a thread later in the year or the first of the year....but most likely will be the 3rd weekend in May....hope that you can come to Tennessee
