Y'all know there is no place I would rather be but with the way things are in the world today someone has to keep an eye on the enemy. Party hard, ride safe and rest easy knowing my team here has your back. Duty calls so I will not be able to make it to Daves in person but I will be there in my heart :chopper:
This sucks ass i hadnt got go see you and Cinde hardly any in the last year and a half.....God bless you Robert for everything you have done for all of us and continue to do for us...hope to see you soon buddy

Rides at the Farm this year.

I missed the run on the Pig Trail several years ago and while I have done it, I'd really like to do it without all my luggage.

Seems everytime I do a road like that (tail of dragon, pig trail, cherohala) I may get my pic taken riding the course but its always with FULL luggage and any of you that have seen me packed know that's an interesting sight -- some trips its been hard to tell it was a chopper.

Is anyone else interested in doing the Pig Trail this year?
Figure I'd ask now.

Take care and thank you for all you do man.

Here is some updates for mike and others that might want to do different rides. I have been swamped with life so I sent the scouts out to search out some routes for the ride on Friday . Due to the never ending construction and abrupt road closures we never know for sure where we will go till usually the week before.

Since there appears to be a very large group this year and since it’s the last at this location we all wanted to do a different and special ride. This has the makings of being equal to the what some call the biggest and best Bigdog ride ever ,that Joe and I put on in 2010 or 11 . That was where we all went o eureka springs and the rented park for lunch with a complete police led and blocked ride .

This year is going to be completely mixed up with mostly new routes with pieces of past years throwed in for logistics sake.

we for sure need to leave at 10.am ( everyone gassed up before) with the ride starting the same but just to get us out of NWA.
There will be a planed stop at the 40 mile mark for a quick bathroom break. The next 45 mile will be completely new to most with a lunch stop on a lake at a pub/bar that is opening just for the big dog group to have drinks and burgers or something else simple to fix. It’s a open air patio /deck so hope for perfect weather. About 2 or so we need to head out on another new route with a quick stop at about 30 miles to expel the beer from lunch. Than its highway 10 again but backwards this year for a stop at the old mule barn for refreshments. This is a very scenic road and going backwards from years past it will seem like completely new territory . After a another 40 mile ride we should arrive back at farm in time for Keith EZ DOG to start a dinner of brats .

The pig trail will be a very good ride also but the logistics of a large group (herding cats) makes the necessity of the easiest and safest route to and from the farm a must For the group ride. In years past smaller groups have split off during the week for different rides and I’d strongly encourage you to as there is some fabulous country here. The only things that anyone has to do while here is have fun.

Also for EZDOGS list it should be updated to include the nonmember regulars ( DAMNIT DALE ,LLLLLLARRY, BRI AND JAMES ) and the other blockers that we need so badly to make this work. I’d say add at least 12 more to the total.

Group ride etiquette… for first timers and old timers refresher course.

1: Ride safe but think of everyone else as well.

2: Always yield to the blockers. After a block all riders move to right to single file to allow blockers to haul ass to the front again for the next block. They will need to pass on curves and oncoming traffic at a very high rate of speed ,so always yield to the blockers. They try to keep you safe and you need to try to keep them safe So NO DAMN DAYDREAMING.After they pass resume staggered position. If someone around you forgets this ,please remind them. It’s VERY IMPORTANT .

3: No hotdogging on the ride. This is just for a few select that need this reminder every year. Yes you have a fast bike and you are the best rider but the group ride is not the place for it. Everyone watch out for everyone else. Naked burnouts and other silliness can resume after everyone has made it back to the farm And will be encouraged as well.

4: It’s not a race but please try to stay as close to each other as you feel comfortable doing. When there is 60 bikes stretched out to mile and half in distance, It makes the intersections very dangerous For the blockers. So please try to get thru as fast as possible.

5: Make sure you have a complete filled gas tank when you get to the farm. It’s about 190 miles round trip but there will be two stops that have gas if you feel the need but it need to be done very fast . FYI. filling Multiple bikes on the same card saves a huge amount of time .

6: PLEASE BE OBSERVANT. if you are in the middle of the pack and suddenly there is no one behind you ,let someone up front know . If someone in front of you suddenly has trouble and there is twenty bikes behind you and there is only room for a few bikes to pull off safely than catch up to the group and keep going . Don’t ever stop in unsafe conditions. I will be In the back and the last rider so no one will be left alone .
I don’t think we have ever lost anyone on the rides and don’t plan on starting now . Well except for Keith ez dog, he’s been lost so many times either intentionally or not on our part ,but he’s trained mighty well as he keeps, showing up at the farm.

NOT Trying to act like a smart ass but the morning of the ride it seems as no one is listening to Shannon’s speech on etiquette So I thought a little advance reminder might be good.

We used to need one for Mo. Not any more.

"Missouri motorcyclists ages 26 and older can ride without a helmet, if they have both medical insurance and proof of financial responsibility."

Dont think we will ride far enough to hit another helmet state, but who knows, You and brother are coming....just saying. :chopper::chopper:
