Hi , I have a 2005 Big Dog Chopper. It has the 117" om it. Where is the best place to get oil filters for it at the best price?

SKOGDOG

One of the old ones.
Or just buy a Harley (Evolution engine) filter. The twin cam filter is a huge no-no on our bikes. As Jersey Big Mike says—if you ride many miles at all, the permanent filter is the way to go. You can get those from Eric, too.

I like and use the K&N oil filters (170C) for our bikes, if you want chrome. They have a 17mm nut on one end for easy on & off. Also are designed to be used with synthetic oil. Since I own multiple bikes, all using the same filter. I purchase then in lots of 8, and when you break down the price per unit, it's around $11.10 each. Never had a problem with any of them. YMMV

No, its www.bigdogpartskingpin.com
And I don't see the Sifton or alternative permenant one on the site.
Yeah I don’t remember seeing the reusable filter @ bigdogpartskingpin but for sure Derek has the K&N chrome & a cheaper chrome filter also for like $12. I guess it really does boil down to how much you ride. I am a weekend warrior. I do a complete fluid change once a year. So I don’t mind paying for a new one each time. Obviously it’s a preference that’s different for every rider.

On K & P website I have the S4. They offer about 10 Finish options. The S4 is for the Evolution Engine. I have a 2006 Pitbull with S & S 117 cu in. Also use the Oil Scavenger by Rogue Chopper, LLC for the Evolution Part# RC101 when I perform my oil changes to get out the remaining used oil.
Decided to take your advice and try the reusable on my Ridgeback. 8982BEA4-0F27-4447-9B70-5DE66D02FC4B.jpeg
