Isn't this that K9 prototype that was at that dealer in NY? Guy calls it a Bandit Chopper, but clearly says BigDog. Also...is that a X-Wedge motor???

It looks like an X wedge too me, this is kinda interesting
That dealer in NY that had those baggers all stashed away, had a bike that looked exactly like this. It was supposedly a prototype K9. Built just before Big Dog closed its doors. For $6000....its a steal. Parts alone are worth more than that. Definitely not a 2019 though.

Looks more like someone had a bunch of Big Dog part that they assembled and titled.
Some of the features just don't add up for a BDM even a prototype in my mind, especially if you look at the full add and see the rear fender (or what little there is) https://ocala.craigslist.org/mcy/d/brooksville-2019-bandit-chopper/7358194288.html
It's down to 5500 -- could be a good deal if you want a fair weather solo ride.

Actually just spoke to Brandon at Big Dog. He confirmed that they built it. It was their old show bike and it does have the X Wedge in it.

I went to go look at this bike on US41 near Brooksville, FL, for a possible purchase. I did speak with the owner, and this is what HE SAYS about this bike. "It was customized by Arlin Ness, says it has a 164 cubic inch motor, and less than 200 miles on the clock." What I observed was a bike in "fair condition" far from perfect, and could use lots of TLC. ALSO, it is NOT running!!! He owner said he fried the computer trying to jump start it, but he does have the replacement and wiring that goes with it, he said those parts set him back $2,400.00. The price, was $5,500.00 probably worth that in parts. I, myself would not buy a bike If I couldn't hear it run, or test ride... Of course the decision is yours, I walked away. Plus I need another bike like I need another.....

Looks like someone bought it.

Xwedge motor mounts are different so it be some cutting and welding to get a different motor.

Seat is a one-off molded into the frame and fender. I hope whoever bought it doesn't want a passenger or any way to attach some kind of sissy bar and bring a jacket with them. Looks like the fender might be welded on the frame, not sure you can even put a stock style fender appears mounting bolt holes are not there.

Brandon Barstow from Big Dog was interested in it. He wanted to know if I didn't buy it. The guy is off on his knowledge of the bike. Brandon said that was built by Big Dog...Arlen Ness was not involved. 121 X-Wedge. Never heard of a 164. It was their show bike at one point in time and a dealer bought it at auction in Bankruptcy.

Probably had belt issues with the X-wedge and why it wasn't running.
