Rims were made by PM ( Performance Machine ) they are called Jester Wheels.
Breaks Calipers are PM also
Brake pads could be any manufacturer that designs break pads for the 4 piston caliper from PM
Not sure who told you that the 05-06 and the 07 Mastiff had a Jims transmission on it but that would be incorrect. But the original transmissions on these bikes was a Baker 6 speed DSSC.

So question, you say you are going to buy directly from the source of these parts, but you do know that HDM sell these parts or a lot of them cheaper than you can get them from the manufacturer? They buy in such bulk or machine their own parts they get a discount on most things, then to help us big dog owners out they pass some not all but some of the savings to us. Not to mention some where and some how you are going to need a part that only HDM has the paten to since they did buy the liquidation sale of Big Dog after it closed. Why not buy from them become a loyal customer and maybe they help you out just as they have many of us that was tight on money or had to make payments on something, and they still sent the parts needed to get you running while your paying it off? That was a while back (sorry Donna) but name one manufacturer that would do that for you? Also just so you know, some of these manufacturers will not sell to the public, you have to go thru their dealers and I can assure you their mark up is way more than HDM. You should look them up:

Just my 2 cents.

I understand that but when the stock of the big dog parts gets scarce only the main brands we could get the parts we need to maintain the motorcycle running...

If HDM runs scarce of parts then that is because the original manufaturers have stopped making parts themselves so knowing them won't help. Just like the company Medallion, who made the speedo for the 2009 Bulldog Bagger, Wolf and any 15 year anniversary bike. I've contacted them directly and they no longer make any replacement speedo for Big Dogs no more. The connection on these are different then the Dakota Digital so can't just plug one of them up. And I've contacted 6 different speedo makers noone makes a replacement for the Medallion speedo. So just know if HDM can't get it or make it you and the rest of us are screwed.

And HDM is constantly working with manufacturers to improve the original parts. And I believe a lot of the manufacturers won't sell directly to the public, it has to come through a company like HDM or big dog itself, and I don't believe they're ordering much of anything.

I am still waiting for the motorcycle to arrive is still in USA for the looks of it with the covid and other delays it could be several months until i receive the beast but know I'm trying to absorb what i need to do to the bike and the mais problem is taking care of the electrical part.
Whats wrong with the electrical part? I have the 2006 Mastiff and besides a tunable thunderheart ignition all my electrical (EHC) is original. I'm running the Gen 1 EHC and knock on wood 20,000+ miles and no issues.

Really? i have read that the EHC fries or catch fire in the manual dropbox you have a list what to do so you almost be free of problems.
I've had 2 K-9's and almost 120K miles between the two of them.
While I have had to replace the EHC both times (first bike and current one) it was never because it caught fire or fried.
Both my EHC developed and issue where when the temperature was low, the bike would not start. Warm up the EHC and viola - bike starts.
The EHC was demonized early on.
The important issues are
A good battery (DEKA, BRAILLE etc) not a no name excessive CCA claim battery
A good VR -- some of the VR's had issues from what I understand. On my first K-9 when the charging system went (stator) I upgraded to the 40A Compu-Fire system (likely overkill, but I like overkill) I was so please with its performance that when I needed to replace the clutch on my second K-9 I took the opportunity to upgrade to the 40A system on it.

Basically, wait till you get yours and diagnose any issues once you get it.

I agree, there was nothing wrong with the original ehc's in these bikes. The problem lies in that there was no protection between the battery and the EHC. The problem lies in when people buy cheap batteries, or if your voltage regulator shorts out.
Make sure you have a good battery as suggested above, make it sure it's charged before you ride. Keep an eye on the battery terminal bolts. Make sure they're tight before each ride.

I have the Compu-Fire on my 2000 Chopper also. Very happy with it also. I have another in my parts supply just in case I ever need it.
