After installing, once switched on headlight comes on but no running lights. The right rear brake light is lit, and headlight only. Pressing foot brake " no change" squeeze hand brake left rear brake light comes on. No running lights at all and no turn signals. Any help certainly

Did you change the battery when you replaced the EHC? If so, what did you get? If everything is hooked up correct, that would be my first guess. Alot of people with shorted batteries, think they have an EHC problem. Which it is not always the case.

Who/where did the RIP install?
I would double check the battery as recommended my Mr Wright, but I think it sounds more like some crossed or shorted wires (brake light symptons)
Grab the manuals that are listed in Mr Wrights signature, get a DVM (digital voltmeter) and bear with us, we'll get you going.

The battery is a year old but fully charged too 100% before putting it back on the bike. Today I wanted to see if everything else was working and if just the lights were the issue.... Unfortunately nothing is working other than stated previously. The bike will not even engage the starter or anything.

First charge the battery and check the voltage. It should be 12.8V for a fully charged battery.
I suspect you have multiple wiring issues.
I would test the switches first by disconnecting them (handlebar and rear brake pressure switch)
Test that all the switches in the handlebars close and go to ground when closed.
use ohm meter across leads of brake pressure switch and press read brake pedal -- switch should close.
Double check all your wiring and check the connections -- add dielectric grease if you haven't already.
Pick one section to work on at a time (lights or running) to make life easier.

Pull battery and press switch on handlebars and make sure the proper pin/wire on the ehc/harness is then grounded.
check all the little back wires are still connected to ground.

Download the manual from the dropbox link in Mr Wrights signature.

take you time.

How do I get to the manuals?

He beat me to it.
Motorcycle batteries are a bit different than car batteries. Some can't hold up to the vibration these bike put out. It's not uncommon for the cells to be shorted together, and still read 12.8 volts. I've seen this many times. With the older EHC's , there is no protection between the battery and the EHC. This is why we recommend the Deka battery. ETX20L 310cca. If you are not running this battery, you will be money ahead to start there. 9 times out of 10, this is most of Bid Dogs electrical problems. It's not the EHC, or wiring. Most of my customers are still running their original EHC, we just change out the charging system, and battery.

Update..... Haven't made much time lately, but did get the lights figured out, and pretty sure my other issues is related to the hand control boards shorting out threw the hold down screws. Got new boards ordered but the new right hand board comes with a plug and a short wire with new brake switch. Anyone know how to get the switch out? Mine is soutered into the board now

There is a small set screw in the hand control that holds the brake magnet in
