Yes I would check all the wires on the battery. When you first turn on the key the ehc does a self check. You said it lit the ignition fault light. You also said you don't have 12vdc at the module. We need to find out why. You never said how fast the bike is turning over.

You can take the plug apart #28 and check for 12vdc on red and black.
Don't want to jump ahead to fast. But if the Module is bad you can buy after market nose cone ignition module. that is what I did with mine.
i went back and ran the test again, i do get 10.5 volts at #28 connection. i never hit run first

Ok
I would disconnect the negative from the battery. Then take the plug off of the ehc. Clean all the pins and look for any damage. You can check the print for which pins feed the ignition. 10.5 volts may not be enough?

The cam sensor failed all the continutity tests so I just ordered a new one today. I will post as soon as that is installed. It has to be that according to the tests.
And special thanks to these guys for the help!

I searched for an answer to this problem on Big Dog forums exclusively and I have found a lot of threads that are just deadends. The original poster never puts his fix in to end the thread.

My issue turned out to be so simple. I had a loose pin/wire in the cam sensor connector. Runs good and the thunderheart was beating like a drum.

Thanks Mr. Wright. I bugged the hell out of him with emails, texts and phone calls.
I hope I can pass it forward someday and help some other dumbshit like me.

Thanks!
It turned out be a loose pin/wire. Easy fix but an embarrassing one.

Glad to hear it was a easy fix. That is why we are here. Gotta keep these bikes on the road where they belong. Also they put that smile on your face quicker at 55 mph.
