Need trailor help

I am looking for a way to hang all my helmets on the wall in my Trailor. Has anyone seen a mounting system or anything setup for helmets? Thanks

Get some skulls (plastic, foam, REAL!) and strap the helmets on them! That would be cool and get noticed!

I know there is a special hook for full face helmets, but not shorties or halfs. You'll probably be better off with a couple of small hooks that would screw into the plywood and hang the helmets from the d-ring.

Damnit this one is for me-- --I know what to do--:up: --I got a buddy that has a western store and he had these big hooks with a flat plate on top that he used for cowboy hats----they hook on pegboard and work great for helmets----should be easy to use in a trailer.

Joshua, I had the same problem in my 6 X 12 enclosed trailer. What I ended up doing is getting some 1 x 2 's 8 foot long, find the vertical support bars inside and attach the 8 footers horizontally to them and then bought a bunch of those plastic coated steel hooks at Home Depot. I put the hooks in about every 12 inches. I not only use the fasteners on the helmut to hang extra helmuts, but I also has my extra vests, jackets, chaps and even my air compressor hose and water hose for the RV on them. I have them on both sides of the trailor. I would take a picture and show you but my trailor isn't kept here at home (against Assoc. Rules).

It probably all depends on budget. You can make tons of great ideas like Alicats or spend big money on some pre-fabbed thing.

I GOT IT!!!! Get the head of a manican, mount it to the wall, put a winter scull face mask on it and the helmet! OK, OK, but somebody had to say something to make everybody laugh! :loony:

I can tell you I have bought a number of things from Pit Products (to include the cabinet that has space on the top for helmets) and they are awesome to deal with. :2thumbs: Wanted to put a coat hanger in the nose of my trailer to hang leathers, etc, but the one they had was too long. No problem, talked to them and they said that they would cut it in half, readjust the hangers to be evenly spaced and created two hangers with three hooks each...one for up high and one for lower
