Best bike for tall rider?

I’m a 6’4” big guy. Have a bagger but looking to buy a big dog bike. Just curious if one model would fit my size better than another.

I'm 6'4" too. My pitbull fits me pretty well. All of the BD's I've been on, which is probably about a dozen, seem to fit similar. Some models have bars that have more pullback than others, so you can swap bars to get to your liking. They make extended forward controls, but I can't imagine needing them unless you are over 6'6". I've never felt cramped on my bike.

Tallest guy I ever saw on a Big Dog was Splitlog—if he wasn’t 7 feet tall, he was close. Mastiff Dave would know for sure. Al liked his Ridgeback just fine. If you prefer rear suspension, try a K9 with forward controls.

My friend is 6'9" and rides a K9. He had extensions made for the pegs. It's pretty easy to do.

if you find one you like but just doesn't quite fit the way you want it to, look at the seat and make sure it's not a "push" seat, which moves you farther forward. you can always have them modified to move you farther back. talk to "seatmaker" on here, best around.

Just goes to show you that "fit" is personal. I'm just 6ft and really hate riding my K-9 without the 2.5" extended controls and clevis extentions.

Get a K-9 and adjust controls and seat to your tastes. If I were configuring things again, I'd likely go with the air hawk seat first than figure out what length extentions you need.

Have a 08 RIDGEBACK since new. I am 6ft 5in. First thing I did was move fwd. controls 3in. forward. Fit is comfertable all these years.

I'm 6'-4" too, put the 5 1/2" extensions on the forward controls, fits pretty good. Keeps short people from riding my bike too. I think the company that made these is out of business though.
