Bruce Willis didn't ride the bike in the movie it was another actor in the Armageddon. Just "google' Armageddon motorcycle scene. Bruce will says "he will be the only black man in South Dakota riding a big dog" Ive attached a movie promo poster with the bike on it.
Thanks for the clarification and information....

Values from J.D. Power and NADA are listed below. Naturally this does not take into consideration the "additional value" if any based on it's tie to the movie Armageddon.

As a point of reference, earlier this year I settled with my insurance company for my wrecked Big Dog K9 for roughly $13K. $3K of that was due to the aftermarket parts and accessories coverage I had....

Not sure if this helps?

Hi, was researching my grandfathers bike he wants to get rid of and came across this thread. Its old but, figured Id give it a shot. Supposedly the story is that big dog only made 3 of these in the pearl white paint. He says its a 1997 Big Dog Vintage Classic Light.

1 of these bikes in white was wrecked while filming Armageddon and Bruce Willis supposedly took the other one. Ive attached a pick and if anyone could help me find out what this bike should worth I'd greatly appreciate it as I cant find info anywhere else. Thanks
If Knothead does not want it, let me know the bike looks great and I may be interested. Love the classics.

Look at the bike in the window photo [1st pg], look at the back of the front fender and note how the silver comes out. Gramps tank looks more a police car flat white. So it's not one of 3.

It's not a movie bike. Gramps has a single headlight. Movie bike has fog lights and headlight. Gramps has square mirror stems, movie bike uses round bar stock stems.

The high is 8k for excellent.
Next level down is 5k.
Gramps' bike is in between. Excellent means an anal owner with polishing rag, a chiropractor on speed dial, and not a scratch on it. There is gas or some sort of stain around the left gas cap and the chrome is looking like it's pitting; if not patina setting in. With the low miles of 6k, looks like some accessories added and OEM changed out. Should sell fast. It's all there.

2008 harley fat boy is going for 6999. See what you're up against? And it said 'reduced' so this is a buyer's market. I might be too high on the guess, but say start with that number and OBO it, not firm... first one comes with cash and OBO's you... Take it.
