Speed sensor working speedometer is not though it does sweep all the way to 140 when the bike is turned on and again when started.

Can’t seem to find a wiring diagram for a 2002 big dog. Does this look OK? There’s an extra plug should be plugged into something?E86D4C9C-8F2D-4E7C-883F-C0BE45428A52.jpeg392F9F09-3B6F-4395-96D8-946565710043.jpeg

Have you tried recalibrating the speedo and seeing what happens.
The 2002 manual in the drop box connection does tell you how to calibrate .
Is that connector insert well into the board (hard to tell from pic.

OK I got out my handy-dandy volt meter and it looks like there’s a break in the continuity on the green wire between the speedometer and the speed sensor. When I roll the bike the volta go up and down at the connector near the battery and then I trace the wire up under the tank and into the back of the speedometer the green wire has no continuity or voltage jumping up and down when I move the bike.

I’m thinking that extra plug after looking at it is pre-wiring for maybe a tach. It uses the ground and 12v+ From the speedo and the yellow wire has continuity with a yellow wire that’s near my battery/ehc that is not hooked up to anything.

I was gonna say the same. More than likely a tach plug.
