Fournales Pan Cruise Shocks

Energy One
Took a bit due to our ridiculous work schedule but we are through the preliminaries and on to selling the Fournales Pan Cruise shocks.
While a bit pricey we feel comfortable that there is nothing else on the market that perform as well as these shocks do in the Big Dog.
We have them listed on our web site but they are, for now, a special order situation only.
In general it will take about two to three weeks for us to receive them, prep them and forward them to you.
We have to remove a small amount of material from a small section of the outer body of the left shock.
This modification has been approved by Fournales and will not affect the shock warranty or it's performance and operation.
Because of the way it looks afterwards we decided to just do both shocks so they match.

I have the factory air shocks and I like them. The ride is decent, and adjustability is great. Just eyeing options should I ever need them..........but hopefully not.......... :)

Exactly, options are what we need! Allow folks to purchase the set of the shocks they

1) Can afford
2) Work

There isn't much else for us BigDog owners to ask at this point considering most of us have bikes that are now 10+ years old! As things get older on our machines we need all the options we can. Then the owner can make the best INFORMED decision that is RIGHT for them.

At the end of the day we all love these bikes, so all our goals regardless of any one's opinions or arguments should be HOW we keep these machines we love on the road!

As a reminder, this thread is posted on WildSteedWorx business board on BigDogBiker.com - obviously one of the new products Curtis provides to us owners! Options!

I'm hoping to install my new fournales shocks on Monday -- borrowing a high lift jack and my buddies garage to get it done easier. Should be a breeze now that I have the right tools and all.

Has anybody tried these ?

That is a huge price...........wondering who can testify to their worth.

See my installation details here https://www.bigdogbiker.com/threads/suspension-rebuild.85212/#post-908199

Thanks Curtis and Jersey Mike for all their help. Curtis provided fantastic support through the ordering process and provided very detailed installation instructions.

But to net it down, they are nice, but I did not notice a night-n-day difference from the original air-ride. I would still describe a K9's ride quality as uncomfortable.

I got about 150 miles on the first test ride, so they should be getting settled in. If it changes I'll post more info this weekend.

I also updated my installation thread, but I wanted to document it here too.

Long term update - the ride now is amazing. Broken in or slightly less pressure - I don't know, but the ride is super comfy now. I don't even need to stand up when facing bridges or railroad tracks.

It really is more comfortable that some cars - truly an amazing feat.

Thanks Curtis !!

Well now that your rear wheel is STRAIGHT I think that might have helped too.

I know I love the Fournales in mine, can't compare to air shocks since I didn't have them. There are still some potholes/tracks I stand for just because I don't want to take the chance with my back. Got some I get off the seat as best I can in the truck!
