The long single wire goes to the battery. You might download the manual and look at the schematics to see if there is a terminal or fuse it ties into.

No problem, I had to replace mine. I bought it at the local HD shop in Wichita. I love it when they ask me what bike I’m putting it on.

That wire going to the battery needs to have a 40 amp fuse 6 inches before the battery.
