I learn more and more everyday from this site. I would like to learn what these lights stand for. when the bike cuts out after it warms up the red light stays on 4th light down on left side, picture below. I know the green and yellow are normal.

Ok I finally found a picture, here it is if anyone needs it also. So when the bike heats up after about 15 minutes my ignition light stays on and the bike wont start until everything cools down (about 15 minutes) Does anyone have know what could be causing this. I respiced all wires, checked all grounds, its just mine blowing to me.

It may be the start of the EHC going bad? I know, and have had, my EHC not start the bike when it was cold out. This is kind of the same thing only when hot though. When mine didn't start, I had to heat up the EHC. In your case you have to cool it down. I ended up buying another EHC. Problem went away.

I have a hard time understanding EHC, EMC, and all the other 3 letter shortcuts what they all mean. If anyone can explain or point out what each computer part is that would be helpful. I try very hard to not show my lack of knowledge and most times can figure it out, biut please help out if you can. I may need a new Rest in peace,(rip) for my bike by bigdog and something else but I'm not sure. Didnt realize they were so much different computer shit involved.

Well all I can say is what you are showing is a EHC. The heart of the system.

That is the ignition light. It means you lost power for the ignition. Either the key switch is going bad or you have a broke wire or bad connection in one of the plugs for the ignition module. It is the smaller silver box. Start the bike and wiggle the wires going to it.

EHC....Electronic Harness Controller. This is the original factory system. Some last forever, some take a dump. There are multiple options. Research them and pick one. The only option when mine crapped was factory or the now defunct WiresPlus. Some are simple plug n play. I believe Curtis @ WSW can test the OG? Keep reading n asking questions.

If it is the EHC.....keep it simple and buy another. Just bolt it in.....connect the two connectors.....and your good to go. The other options out there, if I am not mistaken.....you have to change your wiring? Correct me if I'm wrong. The one's Curtis sells are better than the original and the easiest to install. Good luck in your decision.

Thanks, do you know where the box is located, I just checked and i dont see any silver box. Unless its under the tank

this is my setup, yellow box with lights on it, and the two boxes that plug into it. Behind the two boxes is S&S computer or tuner which is where I tried to plug into to get the pro tune program but I couldnt get it to work.
