Who's got the best prices on Avon 250 rears? I found 209 so far.

American motorcycle tire is free shipping. I have bought from before. No issues with date codes. The place I usually buy from (Rider's Domain) sold to Rocky Mountain ATV and their prices are not as good anymore. Every now and then JP Cycle is cheaper but very seldom.
Dennis Kirk has them for$209 free shipping
I just bought a couple of new tires a couple of weeks ago, here are the prices, I bought the the Avon Chrome. I bought the Avon Chrome last year for my K-9 and they are wearing well.

I just got a spare Cobra Chrome (300/35-18) from Barnes for 166 with shipping -- good date code. Couldn't pass that up. I know I'll need it before the year is out.

Is the chrome an improvement over the previous cobra?
it's the latest, greatest. the jury is still out, I think, as to whether it is actually better than the previous models. but by the statements of the last few posters, it may be better.

Yeah its better to me...mileage is great compared to the venom...and it wears even unlike the venom...fixing to order one for my blue bike also

I hate living in a metro mess area, but it is nice to see, I order something and will get it the next day. Apparently, I order a tire out of CO and it ships from Ft.Worth. Awesome.

I run a 240 on my bikes. not sure about being any cheaper but it’s a hell of a lot rounder and can turn a lot better than a flat 250. it fits perfectly on the rim and you can’t tell it’s not a 250 just by looking at it. (for you people who have a fat tire just for looks), I don’t worry about cornering at all
