Does anyone know of any forum member whom has purchased a new Big Dog trike? I'd like hands-on opinion from a new owner prior to getting to interested in taking such a large leap into the unknown.

I know someone bought it. I believe it was in Texas, but it wasn't a forum member. There was a post about it, but I don't remember the topic.

I remember Matt saying when we were there a dealer had just ordered six units.

Give Matt a call or email. If you're interested in buying one, I'm sure he will hook you up with the dealership that sold them to get input.

Look up Chuck Silverman on Facebook, he had his Wolf made into a trike maybe he can help you. (when you look up his name he has a red ferrari engine as his photo)

I thought the dealer said he would take as many as he could get? Either way, they are being produced and are out there. Shit Keith, take a ride down to Wichita an see if Matt will hook ya up? Im sure Brandon has taken that beast out to walk.....he may have feedback you seek?

I like the looks, and after watching Martian Brothers last night build a trike. I was thinking later on in life, I'll take my chopper to them, and have them switch mine to that.

Personally I think that thing is ugly.
For me it fails most of the reasons I'd ever convert to a trike.
No added storage (ie trunk like Harley, Lehman and many others)m hell not even bags.
Back seat looks smaller and less comfortable than the K-9 -- there go passenger comfort.
What's left as reason for trike, just the fact that at some point I won't be able to hold the K-9 up
I'll convert he K-9 with a DIY kit before I'd buy that Bulldog trike.

To each their own though.

I feel the same. I didn't have anything good to say about it, so I figured it was better to keep my mouth shut. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that has those thoughts.

Well, I look at it this way. Big Dogs are a niche market and those of us here are the target demographic. Without feedback both positive and negative they would be at a disadvantage.
Now, if this had been been with storage and a really good seat it might be a different story, still out of my budget, but maybe not dreams.
This looks like they picked a trike suppliers backend and just "made it fit" then got the a fender on -- For a BDM, it looks unfinished.
The trike market as I see it is aging bikers, the older you get the more creature comfort you either want or need. This fails that target in my mind. It's not unsalvegable but in it current form, no thanks, I'd rather have a goldwing trike if I was at that point.

Not a fan myself...like Mike said it needs storage and bigger seat...i mean its whatever someone likes honestly but its not for me....and just way to expensive not to have storage and other necessities....great concept but needs finishing
