trailer rental??

I had a trailer lined up to borrow for this up coming weekend. I'm going to CO to take part in the UMF Biker & Catholic Schoolgirl run .... OH YEAH, BUT .... the trailer fell through ... now I need to rent one .... uhaul? or other? Can I get away with a local rental or is there a milage thing on the axle?

I would suggest you call around to the local motorcycle shops in your area for recommendations.....that's how I found a great place to rent a trailer for my trip to Daytona this year.....mine had no mileage limits just a flat fee for the week.

What kind of trailer? Toy hauler, enclosed car or open flatbed?

U-haul has a nice 5x9 open trailer that comes with a ramp and everything. Works real well. Not perfect but works...

For the short notice trip any type of trailer would do, I don't have a 5th wheel so class 3 is the only limitation.

Thanks for the idea about the cycle shops, I'll do that.

I rented the same 5x9 ... it worked well .. I'll get some pics from the trip up as soon as I find my damn camera cable ... great country ..

Went to the bikefest in CO-springs on Sunay that was a good time as well ... lots of riders there ... I also was blown away by the fact that at the event in the springs every 10th rider was a solo female ... more than I've ever seen before ...
