Gathering for BD in the Northeast

A couple of years ago there was discussion with having other member gatherings in other portions of the country with the idea of Big Dog owners getting together for meeting, riding and sharing ideas about there bikes. This is not to take away from the main Gathering which has been held in Kansas in the the last few years as I do not want to miss that one either. But to have members and guests gather for a weekend of riding and meeting other members from the area as well as other parts of the country (who knows who may come). Therefore I am willing to start the ball rolling with a gathering either in Keene, NH or Putney, VT (still negotiating deals with the hotels) August 13-16, 2020. The 2-locations I have chosen have ample parking for those wishing to trailer there bikes. During this weekend there are 2-scheduled rides for Friday and Saturday as we travel through some beautiful parts of the northeast. Let me know with how many would be interested? Looking forward with meeting more members of the forum.

That's awesome Ted. More guys around the country need to start something in their area also. I'm hoping the Texas boys and the Tennessee boys should start thinking about it soon. As for the Kansas gathering I'll post something later. The place is still available but I cannot lead it up this year. Keep up the good work.

No matter what date you pick, it's going to coincide with somebody's plans somewhere.

Yep, I relize that about dates, but I also need to factor in the weather as we have a lesser chance of bad weather in August and it is a little cooler in the hills. Along with getting it in before all the college kids start back as traffic will increase as the 2-areas have colleges in them. Rooms cost less as well.
