2010 BD Bagger muffler change

I want to change the two into one stock to dual exhaust so I bought the mean mothers slip on mufflers from Donna and Derek. Will I have to do anything with tuning the engine for this change or just bolt on and go? Thanks for any help.

It should be fine with just the pipe change.

^^yep, Stock VFI will self tune up to 20% fuel map which will cover pipe upgrade easily.

Hey guys I have one more question. I rode the bike for a while and when I got home I go to take the key out and the key is really hot I mean if you hold it tight in your hand the metal part of the key would burn you. This cant be normal or is it?

I’ve noticed that the ignition shroud on my 2010 Bagger seems hotter that the one on my K9. I further wonder if a function of the fiberglass washers on the mount bolts on the K9 is to insulate the shroud- I’m gonna look at the mounts on the Bagger and see if it has the Fiberglass washers, and if not, I’ll install and see if it makes a difference. Can’t imagine that kind of heat would be good gfor the coils and ignition
Any of you electronics guys have thoughts about that?

All sounds normal to me, mine gets hot too and I have the fiber washers in there. Just hand the key to your wife when you take it out...lol

It is normal, mine does the exact same thing

While I have never heard a reasonable explanation for the fiber washers, I can tell you for certain they will have a negligible impact on heat absorption.

The coils/cover close proximity to the head will will convect and radiate enough heat to bring them to equilibrium with the engine, even if the washers reduced conduction to the heads, which would be minimal over a short period of time.

Ok I have another question for you guys so I might has well keep it here. Below the radio on the right side is a 12v plug on the left is a plug I have never seen before so does anyone know what that one is?
