What are some thoughts on having a swingarm bag put on your Big Dog?

I understand Big Dog makes a special bracket to be able to accommodate one, who are some quality makers of these bags?
The Big Dog swingarm bags were more of a leather version of the old softtail toolboxes in size.
Most of the others I've seen are small if left side (to not interfere with license plate) but also tend to block passenger peg.
Right side ones are larger but need a short exhaust.

There are a bunch of generics around that use leather straps or mil-grade zip ties to attach to the bike -- one that use zip ties mean replacing high quality zip ties whenever you change wheel since they block the axle cover as a rule.

I've considered making a bracket to mount some but never have gotten around to it.

Big Dog suggests Drag Specialities bags but in my opinion, they have a lackluster quality.
I’d say get what fits and what you like. Is there a good reason they suggested Drag Specialites.? Sizing maybe? If the one you like doesn’t fit it ain’t much of a help...

Check out Leatherworks . inc
Look at their 312R Solo bag
And their 322L Solo bag
They even picture them on a k9
I’m not quite sure what you’re looking for but a buddy of mine has a couple of their bags on his bike and it looks to be quality stuff.
