Fork oil

I got a rebuild kit for for my forks not sure how much oil to put in and what weight I should use

Did you try searching the forum? This has been discussed with details and very good advice.

Try that and if you come up empty someone will post you the short version of the answer but reading previously documented experiences will help you decide which weight will be good for you. Too light and you might be riding along like your on a pogo stick. :)

Also, look in your service manual for the recommended weight.

I bought 20w also, good middle starting point, then you can decide if you don't like it to go up or down next time

Well, if the manual says 30 weight, then that's what I'm sticking with because I'm happy and why mess with something that isn't broke!

And damn if this conversation didn't make me go look to see what I bought from Curtis for my for seal replacement this fall and sure enough, it's 30 weight. :):chopper:
