Really? With the new 31% import tax to EU (thanks US) the price is pretty much beyond anyone I know
Haven’t calculated but if I make a rough estimate new Dog would be closer or even over $60.000 in Finland.

We had or actually have rather strict noise law for bikes, but police gave up forcing it after a year or so.

Same in Spain... stock exhaust for the inspection, then the loud pipes go back on per normal day-to-day, and the Police don´t give a shit about it...

There is a way around the full export/import tax on bikes..harley does it and the guy that owns aih.talked long ago and he sends to Australia,Germany and some of our guys overseas.there are ways i guess

Would like to hear how you cheat customs and IRS.. sure having a fake receipt helps but I have hard time believing say Harley sells bikes to Europe and claims they cost like $10.000 new. ...

Tapio, if you buy a bike and keep it a yr in Florida. Then ship it to Finland your just moving your property to another residence. There should be no import tax. The US does this with people who live in Europe for a yr or more and want to bring their car back to the states with them.

You wish... that aint how it works. 10 years ago you could avoid taxes by living and owning a car or bike in US for a year, then moving back... sure there was a small problem of not being able to work in Finland while living in US and most likely not having a work visa and work in US either....
Nowadays even if you live and work in USA and move back you can’t bring car or bike taxfree. Period. There is a loophole if you have owned a car or bike in US over 10 years, but that is not very cost effective

Sorry but I call your BS. The taxes and custom is determined by CIF price. Then add vechile tax customs and VAT. You can ship cars or bikes free and it barely changes the CIF price. I can Ship bikes one by one to Europe for about $600 all day long. To do that for free drops the price on street max about $1500.
If you mean you ship them on false papers, calling bikes say a tractor you do save on taxes, but then you can’t register them as motorcycles either...
I am truly sorry but claiming “I do know, but I can’t tell since it’s inside info” kind of went out of fashion in late -60’s
